Re: SSNL [cheese] thread: NOV 2007 (nc)
So [censored] what. He called with K3 on the previous hand. He'll probably call with any crappy pair there because of "pot odds".

[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] Felix, That 2nd hand is ridiculous spew. [/ QUOTE ] Not w/ my read of him that he will call behind and bet pot when checked to when weak. Make a read, go w/ it. Pretty easy, really. Granted, not a default play, but w/ my reads, seemed like a GREAT spot, imo. [/ QUOTE ] Yes, but his bluffing range includes many hands that beat you. And his calling range for the c/r as well. [/ QUOTE ] Oh no doubt that he was very likely ahead here. But my line is SICK strong and basically yelling to him that I have a K. There is so slim a chance that he can call here (obv. w/ a K he does, but he has one here about never), that imo, this is way +EV. [/ QUOTE ] You are so wrong it's uncanny. |

Re: SSNL [cheese] thread: NOV 2007 (nc)
Yeah, when I took my 5/10 shot, I found a 65/35 and a couple of other vicious donks. I dunno if I just got lucky, or I was hitting FTP at primetime donk hours, but I was surprised that the 3 tables I sat at didn't seem any harder than 1/2.
I was running 24/20 and even running over a lot of the regs. |

Re: SSNL [cheese] thread: NOV 2007 (nc)
i wouldnt mind his play if he opened from BTN/CO, where you are likely to be bluff raising the flop wide (primarily with flush draws) and following up on the turn.
