karp,

How is playing KK like that on an A flop the "STTF" way?!

I'm pretty sure someone said something like "cbet out sometimes and check down if called" or "check down and be prepared to call one bet or bet on the river for value if it's getting checked down."

Also, would betting this "scary" turn be a good idea againt these LAGs?

Seat 1: Firetribe ( $56.25 )
Seat 5: gaulois21 ( $16.90 )
Seat 6: pas14m ( $7.95 )
Seat 8: FlashNelson ( $55.80 )
Seat 10: Ruebrik ( $29.50 )
Ruebrik posts Small Blind $0.25
Firetribe posts Big Blind $0.50

Dealing cards
Your cards 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] [Firetribe]
gaulois21 calls $0.50
pas14m calls $0.50
FlashNelson folds
Ruebrik calls $0.25
Firetribe checks

Dealing Flop 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
Ruebrik bets $1.50
Firetribe calls $1.50 -> plays passive since villains are LAGs and hand has an ok discuise
gaulois21 calls $1.50
pas14m folds

Dealing Turn A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
Ruebrik checks
Firetribe bets because A is scary and we have outs?

I'd just check and hope to see a free river. The ace is a scare card for a lot of hands but since you didn't raise pf its hard to represent it now and an 8 or 9 is going to peel one more. Also people like to limp all kinds of weak aces at these limits and like to check/call down with them.

I'm pretty sure that people (atleast Pudge) always advised me to check/call A-high flops with KK.

karp,

I think in moderation. I really doubt anyone suggested blindly calling down to the felt with KK on an A high board. In STTs, maybe, I did a lot, lol.

Karp,

I dno, vs. a random opponent I do what I said previously. I either cbet/give up or prepare to call like one bet somewhere in there.

With reads I'm liable to do like anything, lol.

What range do you really think he's double barreling allin with though?
