How is saying Zidane was egged on the same as saying it was Materozzi's fault for talking? EVERYONE knows Zidane was mad because Materozzi was talking... V's target didn't say "Materozzi deserved it."

I did somewhat enjoy how stumped the American announcerns and post-game commentators appeared to be after Zidane got red-carded out. It was like.. "WTF. This isn't in the script. It was supposed to be a big standing ovation and Zidane at the podium one way or the other. What do we talk about now!?!?" I enjoyed that part. Also you're description of the events makes it look like the Materazzi is an idiot for what he did today, which he isn't (he's an idiot for a ton of different things, most of them have been linked in this forum).
