Those $ per donor numbers are really high if the maximum is $2300. I was under the impression that the vast majority of donors gave less than $500. What am I missing?

Here's where I got it. The link says he reached $5.6 million during the Democratic nomination convention on July 24, 2004! So is this when they named him the nominee?

The FEC numbers do NOT include donors under $200 so of course Clinton and Romney will be higher.

Yep, that would be a general election record.

Bush raised $5.3 million in one day for his unopposed 2004 Primary Campaign.

The campaign just sent out an email saying Romney has the biggest fundraising day this year with $3.1 million. Ron Paul might pass that!

I hope someone was able to answer Taso's question.

On an unrelated note, keep in mind that talking about fundraising isn't against the rules. I've personally made several posts about fundraising as part of a "horse race" analysis of the campaign. What isn't permitted is soliciting funds.

Yes, someone answered it, I believe it was tolbiny. Thanks a lot. I understand now, although you guys are goin' a little over-the-top, lol.

If you didn't see the thread I just locked, keep in mind this is illegal. If you don't care, I guarantee Paul does.
