Only MU fans would think Cantona wasnt totally hated by all. He is the most arrogant player to have ever played in the EPL, we are talking about someone who would pop their collar on purpose and whos goal celebration was to stride around with their chest pumped out. He is also easily the most pretentious player, considering himself an intellectual who would make ham fisted retarded pseudo philosophical statements on a regular basis.Douche. Did I mention him karate kicking an opposing fan yet? 10 month ban ftw.

I have never heard of Man Utd called the scum except by Liverpool fans, the scum up the road are the main scum ie the great unwashed of Newcastle.

Having said that Man Utd were hated for all the reasons mentioned, mainly cos the best team is always hated and they were competitive and got in the referees face, plus Keano getting in everyones face, his feud with Viera probably the highlight of it (and one he dominated as after the tunnel incident Viera bricked it everytime they played.).

Cantona was arrogant but I would say him and Zola are probably the two greatest footballers to grace the modern English game.

Leeds are more hated mainly starting form the 70's but their fans are [censored] horrible as well which is why so many fans around the country hate them.

midfield should be quite interesting

i think liverpool have their best goal scoring 2 up front so sunderlands centre backs are going to have to be so much better than they were last week

Ship it to Voronin! Two wins away to start the season after last season's lackluster away performances leaves me content.

Torres looks like he has hit the ground running in the Premiership looks a fantastic player.

We made Liverpool work hard without looking dangerous, roll on Man Utd next week (, next home game against Reading is going to be key for our season I think.

The Arsenal Man City game was a joy to watch. Man City plays very much like Arsenal. Possession based attacking football. Sven really signed some class players.

Kasper Schmeichel is now one of my favorite players to watch in the league. He's raw and certainly clumsy, but he has this insane energy and emotion. Great seeing young guys out there playing. He nearly had a goal after coming forward on a last ditch effort. His penalty save, was much ado about nothing IMO. RVP took a horrible penalty plus Schmeichel came off his line early.

Fabregas with a great goal. Arsenal deserved to win this, however credit to Man City. I will certainly check out more of their games this season. Richard Dunne had a fantastic game for City as well.
