ae,

"Anyone else think Boosted is kind of closer to busto than he wants us to believe?"

Nah, I doubt anybody has had any thoughts like that or that Boosted is ripping off people with multiple stakes/sales for the same game.

Me neither, just wait until he sells that Apple stock! He'll be rolled for 50-100 again!

So then why wouldn't he ask for a loan online instead of a stake where he is expecting half of any profits he'd make?

[/ QUOTE ]

irock - this is of course a no brainer solution that anyone who truly had the money would have employed. the fact that this is not the deal that was ultimately struck makes it fairly clear that boosted is in some kind of financial trouble, yet because of his strange obsession with his online "rep" he couldn't just be honest about it.

[/ QUOTE ]

he's got a professional website now, you know

Post-Oak,

"I see that you are trying to unravel all of Busted's side deals and transactions; you seem to be missing the fact that the $10K which was used to pay back "GUY 2" would have to be replaced by Busted, because he didn't lose it playing poker. Please add this to your growing list of monies which are seemingly unaccounted for. "

Not sure about that, but it's so confusing I'll have to walk throught it to be sure.

Boosted has $0. ACCOUNT BALANCE $0k. (Just $0 accessible, he is a huge winner with huge edge and has tons and tons of dollars, but he just chooses to play for 25% of his potential earn because lots of people haven't paid him back yet, but he is def very rich and one of the top players and in no financial trouble at all)

TF sends him $30k. ACCOUNT BALANCE $30k.
GUY 2 sends him $10k. ACCOUNT BALANCE $40k.
BOOSTED loses $15k. ACCOUNT BALANCE $25k.
TF sends him $10k. ACCOUNT BALANCE $35k.
BOOSTED sends GUY 2 $10k. ACCOUNT BALANCE $25k.
GUY 3 sends BOOSTED $15k. ACCOUNT BALANCE $40k.
TF sends him $20k. ACCOUNT BALANCE $60k.
BOOSTED loses it all. ACCOUNT BALANCE $0k.

So, yeah, I think the confusion is simply that the $10k from TF merely took the place of the $10k loan from the other guy. Consider it like the other guy didn't even exist in this scenario and TF initially loaned Boosted $40k.

The real question is whether any other people were staking BOOSTED for these games at the same time.

EM2 if I wanted to hear from a preppy f*ggot I'd ask you. Until then, stfu and go humor yourself with fart jokes.

EM2 didn't meant you Aisle. He's speaking of the people who has wrote half of their posts on 2+2 on this thread.

[/ QUOTE ]

Nah he is most definitely talking to me, as I'm friends with Boosted and have posted a lot in this thread.

Because turning the loan into a stake with markup is a 100% safe and is a win win situation for both of them obv.

[/ QUOTE ]

I am not real familiar with staking, so correct me if I am misunderstanding the term "markup" but doesn't it mean that if boosted loses the stake, he will play until he makes the stake back? Where is he going to get that money from to make it back? I'd imagine that would mean another stake with "100% markup" from the OP, which really gives no weight to what 100% markup really is. It reminds me of consistently doubling your bet in blackjack, which always ends up with me being broke...

Boosted: Can i borrow some money?
OP: Ok, sure.
Boosted: I lost some of it. Send me more and we'll make it a stake instead.
Op: Ok, sure.

I feel bad for OP, but Boosted owes nada here. Maybe next time when a guy tries to change a deal in the middle of it's execution, don't carelessly agree with him!? You can be damn sure he's not renegotiating for your benefit.

him: lemme throw this out there
him: I dont know exactly when these guys are going to pay
him: I would think in a week or two
him: instead of loaning me money
him: would you like some of my action and just BR me on FTP until I get my funds released?
him: stake me and I'll provide makeup if I lose
him: that way it's 100% no loss for you
me: whoa
me: what's in it for you though?
him: I borrowed 10k from someone else
him: and they are freaking out
him: that I'm playing 1 table of 25/50 ring
him: so it might be easier just to deal with you
him: and that way
him: I dont feel bad borrowing 30k from you
him: and I can play more freely
me: okay sure
me: sounds like a win win situation for both of us

[/ QUOTE ]

Did everyone miss where Boosted says, "I'll provide makeup if I lose?"

If Boosted meant for OP to provide makeup wouldn't he have said something like, "If I lose, and you want to continue staking, then YOU will provide makeup" ????
