Yeah, typical..the Braves are doing just enough every to keep themselves behind the Mets.

Man this team drives me nuts. We do a lot of things very good & then suck when it really counts. This team is really close to being a great team though, gogogo Tex/Starter!

One good thing about this team is that they don't have a big lead like so many years where they have to wake up in October for the playoffs after coasting for a month. IF they make the playoffs this year, looks like they will need to be playing well the last two weeks of the season.

Well they have been playing pretty inconsistent and are right in both races. Obviously they have to play well down the stretch but if they were playing just somewhat better they would probably be leading the division or wild card.

Woodward has got to go!

edit to add this- Cox is a idiot for pinch hitting Woodward instead of Johnson or Salty. He is a terrible game time manager.

Salty/Reyes for Tex/Gagne. Make it happen.

It sounds like it will take Salty/Andrus/Harrison to get Tex and one of their lesser valued relievers. I like the inclusion of Harrison instead of Reyes because I think Reyes has better stuff. Some say Schuerholz is trying to get them to accept Lillibridge in Andrus place, but that is unlikely IMO.

Bobby Cox is a genius.

I've defended this guy for years, but man is he slipping off the cliff.
