Has anyone considered that the DOJ is relentlessly trying to find a link between neteller and islamic terrorists so that they can rationalize steeling our money, or is that too far fetched?

[/ QUOTE ] I get laughed at when I make this suggestion, but I bet the DOJ is praying they can find this link. This is, afterall, the connection that got UIGEA squeezed into the SAFE Port Act, an anti-terrorism bill. The first thing they'd be interested in is large P2P transfers where no deposits were ever made to online casinos. Who would be using NETeller if they weren't using it to play online? Especially for large sums. Each of those instances are very likely to be money laundering (at the least). Now I know there are people who were site affiliates and poker writers, and these people were paid -- often large sums -- by online sites, but at least their account histories will still show activity involving another site. But if I'm Agent Dillweed and I see Joe Smith's NETeller account has only been used for large P2P transfers -- all going in one direction -- and nothing else, I'm going to look at Mr. Smith a little closer. Of course, I don't expect them to find many/any of these people, but that's where I expect they'd start. Anyone smart about it would have sat at a $100 NL headsup table. You can dump $10,000 a hand for a $3 rake. |
