The chip counts in this hand don't make any sense:

Paul Kershaw Eliminated in 55th Place ($154,194)

Board: {5-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{A-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}

On the turn, Paul Kershaw is all in for 1.3 million in the small blind, with {K-Hearts}{7-Hearts}. Scotty Nguyen calls in the big blind with {8-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}. "Why'd you move all in?" Scotty says. "You think you're playing with a kid?" The river is not a heart and Kershaw is out. Scotty is up to 1,500,000.

Some of the reporters seem to make a lot of mistakes like this. I'm sure he means Scotty is up 1.5 million for the hand.

Yeah, I mean Scotty was just at 3.7 million, if he lost a 6million chip pot one would hope they would have posted an update about it...an aside, the coverage inexplicably seems to be getting worse as the field thins out.

Hardly anything on the site makes sense.

So Scotty is up to 1.5? What happen to the other 1.5 that he had at dinner break? They make a lot worse mistakes than CP did, that I can recall. The coverage gets worse and worse.

Chk out the Kenny Tran pokernews interview, he made a sick call recently on an 8 high 4 flush board with a8 no heart for like 90% of his chips..

Guy is goood..

If his opponent had the 2h in his hand, he'd suddenly be a donkey. We'd be wondering why he'd risk nearly his whole tournament life, after several days of play, with such a call.

[/ QUOTE ]

Why would his opponent bet the worst flush possible?

What happened to Scotty in general? The site had him listed at 450,000. He was up in the 3 millions before, and they didn't report any huge blow to his stack.
