Has anyone got a winrate comparison of party 1-2 vs stars 1-2 over a reasonably signifigant sample on each.

What do you guys think is a good amount of money to make playing 1/2 no limit? I've played 19,500 hands this month for $5,600. $10,000 would be nice but I don't feel like playing any more hands.

When you're about to move to a higher game, do you play some of each or do you just play the new stakes?

Huge brag post.

I am being serious. Lots of people make much more than that here, but to me it's a lot.

1 day left in the month, and I'm up 18k, going for a 20k month, crossing my fingers that Monday is a good day.

66k with 26 of those at 2/4 up about 8k at 2/4. So it's looking like I won't have to move down from 2/4 unless I have a really bad run. And plus FT feels so much softer than Stars at 2/4 that I have yet to sit at a table and feel there was a better player than me, I couldn't say the same at Stars 2/4.

glad to see that your doing well. i thought you were a tough player at the 1/2 level. how are the 2/4 at stars and ft compared all together? i havent had much experience at the 2/4 at stars but remember the 2/4 at ftp being semi tough. can you give some thoughts?

Thanks. I really think the Stars games are much tougher, there was a point where I was 4tabling 2/4 games, 2 games on Stars and 2 on FT. I remember 1 night where I dropped 6 buyins on Stars and won 3.5 on FT. While the difference wasn't always that significant it was rare that I won more on Stars than on FT at 2/4 at least (I actually have a much higher win rate at 1/2 on Stars than on FT but I still think the 1/2 games are tougher on Stars). I could have also run very bad on Stars, because I do not think I was -EV in those games overall but in total I'm down about 7k lifetime over 19k hands on Stars, while I'm up about 7500 on FT in 14k hands. So like I said it could be running bad on Stars and at the same time running good on FT which is making me results based in my thinking the Stars games are tougher.

But as far as the play, I think Stars is tougher because there are more good semi LAGs and full LAGs and less horrible players at the tables. While on FT you get a lot of TAGs who aren't too tough to outplay or who are just plain bad and bad LAGs who don't know what they're doing. Of course my sample size is small so I just may not have run into the good LAGs yet, although I did put in about 6K hands on FT this weekend so I probably saw the vast majority of the regs.
