check behind and bet/raise turn, bet/call the flop. doesnt matter much honestly unless you have a read on how aggro he is

Yeah, betting is like inviting a bluff as if he sucks he will be like ya right, and shove with a somewhat wide range if he's aggro shortstacker. But if he's the type to not put you on a monster and bluff turn, then checking, rr all is best.
I would prolly go through the hand history, Chuck, and see how this shortstacker has been playing on the flop, check folding or check raising all in without the goods (TP or thereabouts).

ok, about what i figured. what's a standard bet size here? with the pot at 55 and villain having 60 behind, do i bet like 30? i don't know how much is enough that i'm not pot stuck but he knows i've still got a hand.

[/ QUOTE ]

Unless I have some stellar read on villain I already am potstuck here. I don't think I'm ever folding this. I would check behind on the flop to invite a bluff on the turn and invite calls from worse hands on the turn and river.

Lol. In all seriousness, has Stars actually gotten that much softer since echecks came back?

I've always found Stars cash games to be way nittier than anywhere else even at 25 and 50nl
