Ok, here's another example, I spit out some wild guess on his equity or pot odds on the river and OP comes back and says "only have to be good 1 in 6 times". Where did that come from? How does he know that, I'm sure it's a math problem.

Anyway, looks like some have posted links and stuff and whyzze says check out the sklanksy nl book. Is that NLHE TAP whyzze? If so, LOL, I have that and have read it cover to cover. The math made my brain hurt. It's been a pretty long time since I've been through it though, so maybe I'll understand it better now.

Jesus.. cant you add 5.4 + 10.8 + 8.6 together and divide it by the raise size?

and strangler, yes, thats the book I'm talking about. If that was a little too mathy for you, I think phil gordon's book explains it a little easier (i cant remember that well though).

Minraise on turn = the nuts seems so true when playing vs passive players. But here I'd pay off anyways since once in a million years villain will have T9 here.
