App St vs. Michigan is possibly the greatest upset in the history of sports, let alone college football.

Stanford beating USC is also huge upset, but pales in comparison to App St vs. Michigan.

"Stanford was 41.5 pt dog, biggest upset ever. "

There wasn't even a line for the App St. Mich game. That's how big of dog they were.

[/ QUOTE ]

Wasnt a line cause they were 1-aa, some betting sites had the line in the 26 range.

Stanford over USC is a bigger upset, especially when u consider Michigan's was based on pre season rankings which obviously way overanked them, and USC was consensus top 2.

Biggest upset ever.

[/ QUOTE ]

Fine, if you want to call it the biggest upset ever you can have it. But if you are going to claim stanford was playing with their backup QB, then please mention that USC was playing with its backup offensive line, 4th-deep corner, missing our best linebacker (kushing), missing our top RB (stefan johnson).

--defensive timeout after the offense called a timeout

this was hilarious

[ QUOTE ]
However, since the out-of-bounds resulted from contact with the defender, it is void.
horrible and almost determined the outcome

[/ QUOTE ]
yeah really. and the ref right by the play didn't even throw the flag.

as a ucla fan i'm stoked that usc lost (i'll gladly take ucla giving nd its first win to watch usc lose), though i also agree that the #1 ranking was uncalled for.

i do think this is a bigger upset than app st. stanford has been getting absolutely crushed.

45-17 vs. UCLA
41-3 vs. Arizona State

BC 3, USF 4? Florida would move back up to 5 I guess.

Don't know if anyone cares, but Notre Dame is up 20-6 on UCLA.

I disagree. When you take into account how poorly Michigan has played this year, that game doesn't look quite as stunning. Michigan struggled with Northwestern and Eastern Michigan the last two weeks. We are not any good.
