[ QUOTE ]
At NL100 I can c-bet AQ on a J92 board and give up after being called and still win at showdown against Q8. At NL200 this happens very rarely, in my experience.

[/ QUOTE ]

Most people still seem pretty honest at 200 in my experience. If you feel like you're being outplayed on your cbets by certain opponents, then why not cbet less / use delayed cbets more often until you get a better feel for your opponents? Just be prepared to raise the turn light. Alot will donk it with a huge range when you check behind on a flop.

[ QUOTE ]
My lifetime winrate at 200NL = 5 ptbb/100, lifetime winrate at 100NL = 3 ptbb/100.

I'm pretty sure this is longterm so somehow the playing styles at 200NL suit me better.

[/ QUOTE ]

My winrate at $200 is also much higher than my winrate was at $100. Not enough hands to call it lifetime in either, but I find $200 alot easier. Alot of spewtasticly exploitable aggression.

Actually, I think he played this TERRIBLY, and your fold was OK. You couldn't really know that he was retarded.

$15 is fine.

[/ QUOTE ]

Notice they're 160bb deep?

[/ QUOTE ]

The extra $2 doesn't change implied odds much, doesn't make anything fold, etc...

[/ QUOTE ]

We don't want them to fold and we want to make it as expensive as possible for them to call and for them to make a mistake. $3 more can make the diff. between 14 to 1 and 11 to 1 implied odds.

[/ QUOTE ]

I'm going to assume you are 3-betting a relatively big range here.

I'd rather have him making mistakes by set-mining with all kinds of [censored] when, in reality, I am rarely stacking off, then to be making mistakes myself by constantly bloating the pot OOP with marginal hands (which I will usually have).
