I apologize that I haven't been able to keep up with the thread this morning - am catching up at work after being gone. When I get home tonight, I will read everything in detail and post more thoughts. I am not voting until then.

With that said, I thought books was off yesterday, but I wasn't ready to lynch him Day 1. I actually thought he was the seer when he came out (sorry, Sighing, I voted for the first name I saw had lots of votes, because I didn't know where the numbers were).

But, I am very concerend he is alive today. If the evils had a choice of buying armor or blocking a seer, why not just kill the seer and buy armor? That's what would make the most sense to me. (I haven't read the thread thoroughly, so maybe someone has already answered this.) I just don't know how many days I want to leave him alive. Anyone remember 007?

On the other hand, I think books' "claim to fame" is that he has never fake seered. If that is true, why would he start now?

I am not ready to vote him yet, I want to reread tonight, but my initial thought is that he's not faking. It's just not his style.

fnord,

First of all, it costs $600 and not $500 for a night kill.

I think what we really disagree on is whether the mafia would use armour on boiler if he's one of them. After last night's action, there is a very good chance of boiler or books being killed today. If you were mafia, would you invest $250 on someone who could get lynched before the next night anyway?

"WDC and Boiler both mafia - most likely boiler gets Armor and vigilante shoots at him."

If they are both mafia then the village is in great shape already regardless of how we approach this. So I think it is better to focus on the other possibilities.

I have a hard time envisioning either boiler or books living more than a few more days, so the decision for each of them is just how many nights we wait before lynching them.

We leave them alive until we have solid evidence that they are not who they claim to be. Period.

There's absolutely no reason to lynch either one today. If they are faking, the truth will come out sooner rather than later, and we lynch them then.

In the meantime, let's find some mafia, k?

I propose we start with horn & dmb.

I find it very odd he hasn't brought up that exact phrase.

Ignoring the books/boiler poopfest for a moment, people we haven't heard from or even thought about today:

Magra
Morbo
WillMagic
xorbie

I believe Magra is a wolf.
