I'm really glad that you came to that realization [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img] Your story was very well written. All weight-losers, try www.thedailyplate.com to keep track of your food and exercise. It has a database of the caloric content of most foods (by brand name, type, and/or restaurant) and you can select how much of a portion you ate and for what meal. You can also write a diary entry every day to gauge your mood and see what triggers binges. Good luck! |

Just to post my own story. I'm 6'2". When I posted this thread in May I was around 210-215, which was as fat as I'd ever been, but I weighed myself at 228 sometime around new years 2007, which made me feel like a useless, flabby git.
Now, 2.5 months later, I've dipped under 200 for the first time in maybe 2 years. Secrets: no pot, booze consumption down by 90%, no snacks in the house, no eating after dinner, accepting that sometimes one is hungry, more frequent ned walks. |

Not only have I made no progress but I've gone the other way (just a little). I will really push to make some kind of positive loss in the next few weeks.

I wish I would have found this thread earlier. Congrats on your weight loss Dids.
Anyway about 3 years ago I weighed 365lbs and decided I needed a change in my life or I would probably die eating a hamburger. It took me about 1 1/2 years but I lost 140lbs through proper diet and exercise. I'll see if I can get some before and after shots. |
