Well, that much is obvious, but someone will give me something.

Leftwich is my backup plan if he can start.

I think Deuce will be fine as a #2 back. There's no reason to think he'll put up significantly different numbers to last year, and getting 1000 yards and 10-12 tds from the 2 back when 1 is LDT is fine.

I agree that I need a 3rd RB, there was a [censored] up with my draft where it froze and then when it unfroze I woud up with rivers and hass as my 6/7 picks, that 7 should have been Chester Taylor. So I'm looking to move hass anyway possible for a 3 back

[/ QUOTE ]
I would be tempted to try to move one of your very, very good WR's for a good 3-back.

I got offered Portis and Dion Branch for Chad Johnson today. I'm considering it, but I'm not sure. I thing it might be one of those 2 qarters for a dollar trade. I thinkg Portis has the potential to have a huge comeback year, but equal potential to have another injury plauged let down year. Plus I think I can probably get better value somewhere else. Would anyone here make this trade?

Okay, someone is trying to trade Gates for a RB or WR. I'm obviously in the best position to do this trade, who should I offer? My team is, of course:

QB Travaris Jackson
WR Lee Evans
WR Larry Fitzgerald
RB Brian Westbrook
RB Maurice Jones-Drew
TE Ben Watson
K Josh Scobee
D Oakland
BN Brandon Jacobs
BN Ladell Betts
BN Cadillac Williams
BN Mushin Muhammad
BN Reggie Brown
BN Greg Jennings

His team is:

QB Drew Brees
WR Torry Holt
WR Calvin Johnson
RB Frank Gore
RB Marion Barber
TE Gates
K Olindo Mare
D San Francisco
BN Vernon Davis
BN Julius Jones
BN Jericho Cotchery
BN Michael Turner
BN Vincent Jackson
BN Trent Green

Brees, Holt, and Gore seem like obvious targets, but I'm terrible at trading.

You're set at WR, starting-wise. Your depth is lacking, but that's okay. There will be more opportunities to add a decent WR than there will be a RB.

Tarvaris Jackson at QB is ugly. I don't know what you could offer to get Brees AND Gates since that is a pretty big package, but it would have to be a lot. If you're comfortable with Jackson as your starting QB then I might offer an Evans and Betts for CJ and Gates trade. You downgrade slightly at WR but get the best TE in the game. Westbrook, MJD, and Jacobs is still a great trio of RBs.

If you think that offer is too much, start lower and wait for a counter-offer.

Thoughts on trade
Gonzalez, Anthony WR IND
Henry, Travis RB DEN
for
Bush, Reggie RB NO
Hackett, D.J. WR SEA
Thomas, Anthony RB BUF

my RBs would equal- Gore, Deshaun foster, Adrian Petersen(MIN), Travis Henry, Ron Dayne, michael robinson

my wrs would equal- Randy Moss, Colston, Calvin Williams, Ron Curry, A Gonzalez.

forget the trade...gates isn't THAT much better than watson anyway. just drop tavaris jackson and close your eyes and randomly click on a free agent QB.
