I was walking back from the WSOP area at the Rio to my room (a nice ~1/2 mile walk) and in the (long-arse) hallway b/n the Rio Convention Center and the casino there they have a couple of internet kiosks, and who's using one of the machines? DS. Unfortunately I was alone and had no one to prop bet with on this, but as you might guess, he was on 2+2, typing out to reply to a thread. I guess poker players/authors don't do Blackberry...

7am (Peru Time), yesterday morning ... self actualisation finally achieved: Yes, after 2 years of playing poker, I won my first MTT, slow learner obv, but ... I feel on top of the world. Many, many thanks to everybody here, and at SSNL, and MTT forums who have helped me learn how to play this game.
June results so far: 13 MTTs played, Cost: $2427, winnings: $4,335, net profit +$1,908. 4 Final tables: 2nd in $3.30, 4th in $22, Bazillion ticket in 39r, 1st in $11 (ok only 589 entries, but weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee). Obviously sustainable statistics! Sry for brag, but Poker is wonderful, MTTs are easy, 2+2 rules and I love all STTF'rs. And even Citanul responded to my plea to shut down that donk WVU thread. Life is gooooooood. |
