Im starting to think 10 tabling NL100 is better money than 6 tabling 1/2 against 4 2p2ers on every table.

100NL is much much easier than 200NL (ldo).

Moving up through the limits, stuggling with the changes in players is a necessary if you want to become a better player.

However, if you main concern is making money every week, there is a good possibility that 100NL will be a more profitable game than 200NL for a lot of players.

Also, 200NL really isn't that hard. I know its irritating to hear people say [censored] like that -- its used to piss me off as well. My point is that A LOT of players seem to overcompensate for the change in agression/style of play when the move up from one level to the next. Fearing they are getting outplayed or pushed around. I used to see sooo many players at 1/2 three betting like monkeys, calling down in ridiculous spots, becoming aggro at odd/poor times etc.

BTW these are all the Stars players with > 2000 hands in my database for May. I think they're 100% 2+2 which is pretty F'ing sick.

Wow, I miss Pokey, because he could explain this stuff pretty well.

But let me take a stab.

When your average chance to win is 55% in all in situations, and you win about 50% of those situations out of 90 all-ins, this is not even REMOTELY close to "running bad". This is just lol. Please come back after 10k all-ins, kthx.

Please look up the terms "standard deviation" and "variance" on wikipedia or something.

I think the all-in calculator thingie seriously needs to be banned because it's teaching everybody exactly how not to think about statistics and variance.

There are a lot of terrible players on your list of the Stars 200 game... There are also a few good players.

Mmm there are tons of 2+2ers in the Stars 200 game. Most of them are either too weak-tight or too spewy, but they're certainly not easy to play with.

Leatherass9 has been annoying me. Also catcher333.

I shouldn't really talk though cuz I've been playing like a retard and dumping chips on everyone.

[/ QUOTE ]

catcher is good. i like to have him at the table though b/c i think his minraising gets people to do stupid things sometimes.

i think leatherass9 plays as high as 25/50, so maybe he went busto or something. or i couldve just mixed up my leatherasses

at the start of the year, i was online bustoors.

i 10-12 tabled to 100NL to reuild my roll. i think redargoe (now plays up to 25/50 again) was doing the same thing at that time. also, DJSensei has said he thinks 100NL FR is a great spot to build a roll.

Food for thought.
