OMG THE THREAD JUST WON'T DIE!!!!!!

Have you played much blindfolded chess? If so, where would you estimate your strength blindfolded vs. players not blindfolded?

Yeah I thought it was finally over....I suck at blindfold bigtime. Maybe I'm just lazy though? But really it's not one of my strengths. Although I bet I'd be decent at solving endgame studies blindfold...just playing blindfold I suck compared to my rating strength.

Omg go back 40 pages in this thread. I see he's playing the fast version btw. I dunno, with a bit of serious practice Im sure I could get good enough so that I'd literally never die. I haven't played in years, but my average score is in the 300k range, with a high score of something like 500-600k. But okay if I made a serious study of the game I'm quite certain I'd be invinceable in about 2-4 weeks of playing seriously. Note that the highest score before it resets is 999990. So unless you continue keeping score manually past that, I don't think much improvement is necessary to get to the level where I can do that. It's all about stamina and being willing to sit there for 3 hours.

Im not sure if he's one of the people who's good enough to never die. The slower version of Ms Pac Man is a much better game IMO.

Agreed! My friend owns this at his house. My first video game experience when I was younger.
