This is a lousy situation. Let's look at what happens if GTIT is a Demon.

Angel protects GTIT (pretty bad)
Demon Hunter shoots at GTIT (pretty bad)
Demon Hunter learns Angel's identity (pretty good)
Amp dies or becomes possessed (sucks)
GTIT jumps bodies (sucks)

I was going to post on this issue before this evening because I was afraid of this exact situation. Every Demon will claim a special role, without fail. So will every village power character. If you didn't believe GTIT before, this shouldn't change anything.

If he is telling the truth then we protect him, but we leave Amp out in the cold. Does anyone feel comfortable about finding a villager that can elected by consensus? My instincts before he came out were that he was a Demon. I don't see how the situation has changed.

It sucks but I was quickly running out of options. I felt a lot of suspicion being cast on me for little reason. I felt it was likely I get lynched. Getting lynched would be very bad. We can elect a new executioner but its more risky because we don't know if he's a demon or not

I told you I came out early because people are following Kyro's lead and he's gunning for me hard. I could be lynched. I have the voting lead. If I come out later, no one believes me because you for sure think I'm a demon claiming and I die as a power villager.

I just can't buy the "I was worried I was going to die" argument. Coming out as any role in this game is virtually useless, as far as I can see. Almost any power role that's getting lynched is going to get lynched anyway.

I think waiting and hoping for the best is a better option there.

I disasgree completely. You are an experienced enough player to keep your head when all about you are losing theirs. You knew that I wasn't going to cast my vote at 1:30 out of nowhere. There was zero point zero zero percent chance of you being lynched soon. No reason to come out at all. Plenty of time though, to confuse the village and create chaos and disorder.

Amp dies OR gt jumps to amp. The demons only get one night action, no? So if gt is a demon, he can kill amp (then jump the next night, if we don't lynch him) or he can try to possess amp, risky if angel rand()s, or jump to someone completely new.

I am still trying to figure out the angles here.
