Re: What was the Sopranos about?
All,
Surprised that so many people think that Meadow actually believes that Tony was being harassed. I thought that line was her way of saying that if Tony thinks that Meadow becoming a lawyer is a "bad thing" then that's his fault. |

Re: What was the Sopranos about?
I'm pretty sure she was serious. She was disgusted the last time he got busted in front of the family. She was outraged at how they treated him and made a spectacle of it.

In the past Meadow really has been outraged at the way Tony has been treated. I think the most obvious scene was at Johnny Sac's wedding but there are other examples. |

Re: Sopranos Season Finale Discussion

[ QUOTE ] 5 - The Members Only jacket guy is not the same actor who played the Russian, this was his first episode and only appearance on the show according to the credit listings on IMDB. [/ QUOTE ] Hahahahahahahaha. Where in the hell did you read this from? You had to have made it, right? [/ QUOTE ] http://blog.nj.com/alltv/2007/06/sop....html#comments #1 source of Sopranos discussion on the web, and there are many others far better than 2+2 is. I haven't seen that episode in a long time, but from what I recall there were two guys, one got hit the other one was MIA if my memory is correct. Lots of postings on other sites asking if the two scenes were related, obviously they are not. |

One of the running themes is the naivity of the family, and how they're willing to turn a blind eye when it suits them |

Re: What was the Sopranos about?
Some great interpretations in this thread.
The line where AJ says "try to remember the times that were good" was him quoting Tony from the finale of the first season where they eat in vesuvio. I was hoping I would be the only person in this thread to get the Devecchio reference, that was my biggest laugh of the night. |
