Early morning at the Tohno house, and Hisui rather forcefully. This is fairly routine, as Shiki is extremely difficult to wake up at times, but something seemed different about today.

"Shiki, there's something I need to tell you."

"...that I overslept and I'm going to be late for my first period of class again?"

"...not just that. It's about your sister. Akiha, she..."

......

"...she died sometime last night."

Shiki initially had no reaction, almost as if he never heard the words. A few seconds later, you could see it

"...What happened?"

"Nobody knows. Nobody broke in last night, no sign of a fight, not even any wounds on her. Kohaku thinks that she died of the illness she has been recently suffering from, aggravated from the stress of having to deal with the mob from last night."

"...well, the best thing we can do for her now is to solve the rest of this problem as quickly as possible. It's what she would have done if I was the one that died. We need to succeed -- for her, and for the entire town."


Akiha Tohno (as played by LuckayLuck) is dead.

Later on in the morning, Akira Seo (Akiha's roommate in the dormitory of the Asagami Women's Academy, even though Akiha does not live on campus), while checking her e-mail, finds a notice from the administration, sent to everyone on campus:

Tragedy has struck the Asagami Women's Academy today as multiple students have been found dead over the last 24 hours. Hanei Misawa was found dead downtown last night, apparetly trampled to death during a small riot. Then early this morning, both Souka Tsukihime and Akiha Tonho were found dead in their homes.

The administration would like to offer its deepest condonlonces to the Misawa, Tsukihime, and Tohno familes, and wish them the best of luck during these difficult times.

Counselors will be on hand all day for the rest of the week in the councling center on campus to help students and staff with any emotional distress or other issues concerning the deaths of these three students.
