I dont know about you guys but isn't the Microbrew turning in to a "bad beat"-vent thread? There are seldom replies to posts - mostly people posting about how bad they run themselfs.

Every time I have an issue that I need help with, uNL helps out in the form of this thread.

Over the weekend I discussed my bankroll and how to go about taking shots at the higher level.

I have also recieved help with UB and PAHUD. Im now able to play multiple tables with my fav HUD and the fish are getting hurt as a result.

Some of these guys play so many hands per day that when they take a beat that is messed up, it should be posted as some of us will play for years and never see that kind of beat. I should post my hand where I flopped a set of 6's and my opponent had AJo and flopped a J. He put me all in and then caught runner runner quad J's .

Not really a bad beat, but I'm getting frustrated with this [censored] window manager that CrashPat made in the Software forum. KJHFLKJHDfjkhjHA

I vented some opinions about bad beats earlier this thread .... it all depends

There is the fun part of poker, and uNL is about having fun with poker and not being pro. When you do not play 1500+ hands a day, bad beat are prominent and a big part of the exitement of poker ... live the moment and so on.

On the other hand, if looking for a life with poker and planing on moving up etc etc, then focusing on bad beats is soooo unhealthy that it is beyond unhealthy.

After thinking about it and this being uNL and all, I must admit that posting off bad beats is ok, but guys please try and post then in a high spirited tone. (And yeah ... most of us have seen the runner runner quads I had a hand once with lots of pf action and then villian proceed to put me all in on a K high flop with me holding KK ... well his QQ held up ... that just part of the fun, even if he was chip leader and I was 2nd in chips after playing 4 hours of an MTT and where 12 players left. That is just how poker rolls )

Yeah, I, too, have mentioned this a week or two ago.
I just stopped reading any hh posts in microbrew. I might miss a few gems that way, but I've got enough beats myself, I don't need to read about everyone else's beats, too.

Google Poker Patterns and click on the link that sends you to the PokerTracker forum (The Poker Patterns website is down) and there is a direct link to download it. Hope it helps.

Oh, and since I moved to UB (250 hands or so) I made 2 buyins. Too bad the Hand Histories were down or I'd have a cool graph that looks like a big checkmark.

AA < 88 getting most of the money in on a flop of T44, and he turned an 8.
AdKd > QQ on low, 2 diamond flop.

And a plethora of small pots that I picked up because the UB 25nl is weak/tight.

AndreasQ, stop 3betting me please.
