wuts with no one postin in this bitch. it was so far down my first page. pick it up people where tha [censored] is tha banter?!!?!?!?

in other news i have gone over a [censored] load of my hands from recently and i can say i played reasonable over my horendous down swing. but i also came to a conclusion that downswings like this can happen and will happen. when u r pushing 55 and 60% edges u will lose ur fair share of them and at some time u will lose a ton of them in a row. even when i was gettin it in behind on coolers or w/e i think i was ahead of tha ranges for the most part or that it was even and that kind of stuff will not work out sometimes. when u have 55% equity in tha hand u have to look to get it in. this will lead to lots of varience tho.

in retro vision i love how i have handled it so far. if i woulda found out a year ago i would drop 1500 in a week i would prolly killed myself. i dont feel to bad at the moment and feel like gettin back to the grind asap. it will suck spendin a week or 2 (hopefully) to rebuild and get to even for tha month but im still content and cant wait to work hard and get it done. thanks to all who have helped and look and replied to hands in tha last week. i appreciate it a ton.

if n e of u go thru a killer stretch pm me or hit me up on aim and ill b more then happy to go over some hands and chit chat

Coming off a 20BI swing, I'm finally hitting a heater. I've been experimenting with maximizing value and getting opponents to bluff at me, but I'm starting to realize that picking off bluffs is such a small % of value at these stakes.

From what I understand, it's how many $ you would have won had your hand held up.

Coming off a 20BI swing, I'm finally hitting a heater. I've been experimenting with maximizing value and getting opponents to bluff at me, but I'm starting to realize that picking off bluffs is such a small % of value at these stakes.

what stakes? At NL50 I made a ton of money off people "bluffing me" (turning their hands into bluffs against my range). I basically played like a calling station turn/river

Can anyone explain to me the concept of 'Sklansky Bucks'? Or link me to a thread ? I'd appreciate it . .

This I understand ... what I don't understand is what the significance of the amount is. I don't believe that it's simply a way of keeping track of all the times you've been screwed over and how much $$$ you've lost...

What is the purpose of counting 'Sklansky Bucks' ?

edit - I'm just really tired.

It is how much money you win/lose on a hand based on you're equity when you put your money in.

it just shows how good/bad you are running.....Sklansky bucks are your EV or equity

ie. if your Sklansky dollars were $2000 and you actually made $1000, you would be running bad.
