overnight hes gone from a solid 15/8 guy to a KG/Duncan type force. what the !!!!! he might be my early season mvp, although my mancrush on dwight howard is reaching epic proportions. also lebron james is still pretty good. |

Re: Thread
this is how the boston celtics have been playing defense this year. dancing. doc rivers teaches them to dance in front of their opponents rather than put their hands up.

Carmelo is having a sick year thusfar. [/ QUOTE ] I know, and I can't explain my dislike for him in any way that would make sense. There were a lot of good Pwntown performances tonight, Aldridge, Jack, Outlaw, hell even Dickau had a nice appearance. I'm not counting my chickens, but in 3, 4, 5 years an interested Zach Randolph (he's only 25!!) surrounded by some of these young slightly wiser players...wow, this could be fun. Rasheed got [censored] worked tonight lol, I think that might be my favorite part. You could see he and Zach jawing all game. |

Re: Thread
Steve Nash: 20 assists in 32 minutes. Fun to watch. So were Pat Burke's three garbage-time threes when the whole arena was screaming to pass it to Raja Bell.
EDIT: Sacto may have been .500 before tonight's game, but without Ron Artest they look really, really bad. In just about every facet of the game. |

Re: Thread
Sorry to sidetrack:
The other day I was listening to maybe one of the best sports radio shows in the country (besides the point) and they have been doing an ongoing game called the Dallas Homeless vs. [insert Maverick opponent] Basically whoever the Mavericks are playing at that time are getting interviewed with ten questions, these questions are very easy and 5 players are interviewed. They are up against 5 random homeless picked off the streets of downtown Dallas. This game is absolute greatness. I meant to post this last week. The homeless was up against the Kings and Ron Artest was BRILLIANT! The homeless team didn't have a person with an education past 1st grade. 2 of them had speech impediments so bad that they had to write down the answers, though their answers were answered in audio and were hilarious. One of them lived out of a shopping cart--he actually lived out of the shopping cart, it was is bed. Anyway a few of the questions that I can remember + Ron Artests answers to each question: How many "I's" in "Mississippi"? 3 You have a quarter, a dime, a nickel and a penny--how much money do you have? 46 Who is on the face of the hundred dollar bill? Some white dude, I know that Who replaced Drew Bledsoe as quarterback of the Dallas Cowboys? Romo Who is the controversial reporter from Kazakhstan? I have no idea What is 1/5th of 15? Come on man, why you asking me that bullsh*t What hollywood star recently filed for divorce after just 4 months of marriage? Britney (answer is Pamela Anderson) Ron Artest score was 1 The homeless scores were 1, 2, 3, 3, 3 All the homeless got the Romo question. 4 out of 5 of the first grade educated knew what 41 cents was. One of these window scrubbers even knew how to spell Mississippi. |
