Going for it on 4th tonight is really funny.

Scattered throughout the league's rosters are the coaches of the future. At some point, be it 5, 10, 15 years down the line or more, the pats are going to find themselves with an awful team and some vengeful people will be determined to pay this back.

I tried to explain to my wife tonight why it was so funny that the Pats were going for it on 4th down, and she didn't get it.

"Why wouldn't they just kick a field goal? They are winning by 35 points!"

They can do w/e they want, If they wanna kick onsiders when they are up 50pts thats fine by me.

That being said if Brady / Moss or another star gets injured in garbage time its going to be all about "what could have been"

Also I really want Moss to win a SB, he deserves one.

Ive always thought he was better than J. Rice, MN homer but now all the Pats homers can agree w/ me too.

Like what? Pats go 2-14 and lose by an avg of 15 instead of 10? who gives a [censored] when you're losing it doesnt really matter. I didn't sit here watching the celtics lose almost every game last year hoping that they lost by 5 instead of 15.

i love this thread. it keeps going in circles. no one pays attention to anything anybody says and we are once again making the same arguments from 5 weeks ago.

the coach won't be BB, the QB won't be Brady, therefore there will be no point in "paying them back". who are you paying back, the uniforms?

there is pretty simply reason why this stuff has never gone on before - there has never been a team this good

It wont affect Brady or Belichick at all, but I still think it will happen.

also, the Pats did take the gas off. Brady's last drive was early in the 4th quarter. they spent the whole 4th quarter running dives with the FB, and they punted from the 30 yard line on 4th and inches
