Wow, they ban online poker in America because its bad when a group of poker players just raised $20,000 for a childrens charity. FREEEEDOM!

I linked this thread in 1-Table Tournaments, Puzzles & Other Games, and Science, Math, Philosophy - those being the three forums apart from BBV where I spend most of my time.

In Denmark we had a televised tournament where a winner had to give a fixed ammount of winings to charity. The winner choosed to give money to Red Cross. When Red Cross recived money, they gave it back because money came from poker/gambling. :s

Is it bad that that makes me want to never donate to the red cross? Is it bad that I feel quite good about donating $1k to someone who has at least a modicum of respect for my hobby?
