Man it's unbelievable how Gold's rush continues day after day..Each time he hits good (which seems to be very often) opponents got a hand they'll pay off with.

[/ QUOTE ]

i think we may have tomorrow's headline there

[/ QUOTE ]

Gold Rush is definitely a headline.

[/ QUOTE ]"Gold rush over" is more like it.

He had 9-7 suited. Perhaps trying to take advantage of his image and position.

anybody catch the link to give feedback to espn? I find it really annoying that they don't say what the flipped over hands are when you can't see them on the screen. I wanted to know what Gold had on the trip nines vrs trip nines with cunningham, and again what gold had on the hand where he goaded the call with the K to make the straight. What was his other card? Can't they at least tell us the friggin hands for 25 bucks?

Apparently, Cunningham blew a "snot rocket" at the table.

In the hand AC lost a ton of chips, he must have held 97, 96, 94, 93 or 92 and he called from the button. Is this not a bit curious?

[/ QUOTE ]

he had 97 and called on the button for a cheap flop - why is that curious? are you suggesting he should have raised the two limpers and two blinds?

HAND 28 - 80k/160k (20k)

Friberg on the button. Binger makes it 500k UTG. AC makes the call from the BB.

Flop 5d-Ks-3d

AC checks, Binger bets 800k. AC folds quickly.

it was 97 (maybe suited?), he called after 2 limpers in position, and one of the limpers is gold... so, yea, I think its fine with a fair number of chips behind.

Nice play so far by the "best player at the table" aka Friberg.

[/ QUOTE ]

Too bad they aren't playing this online.

They've been playing with Gold for how many days now, and some of these guys obviously still have no read on him, even with all his antics.

[/ QUOTE ]

Gold talks all the time. He's talking right now in a hand in which he was faced with calling a bet.

Gold just likes to talk a lot at the table. He'd get huge ESPN time with his talking. even if he wasn't the monster chip leader.

[/ QUOTE ]

Yep but given the pressure of the situation wouldn't you want to just bitch slap him if you were there!
