OK. Admitidly, I am grunching this super long thread.
That said, how much Muay Thai are you studying Danny, and how helpful is it to you? (Asked from perspective of someone trained in different martial arts and now studying MT a lot more seriously and finding it hella useful)

Now that I've gotten my [censored] together today...
Upset with the results of Shogun/Forrest as a fan of Shogun and Chuck/Jardine as a fan of Wandy, but... What an awesome week for MMA. Wicked good K-1 card with a very good ending to their LW GP. EliteXC, disregarding the presentation, had a very solid card. And not one, but TWO sick UFC cards in addition to Cage Rage and Shooto cards. Just an awesome week to be a fan of the sport.

Friend and I were talking about the Dec. 29th card. I came up with this lineup:
BJ Penn vs. Sean Sherk/Joe Stevenson Wanderlei Silva vs. Chuck Liddell Dan Henderson vs. Yushin Okami Josh Koscheck vs. Karo Parisyan Cheick Kongo vs. Gabriel Gonzaga What do others want to see on the main card?

 There were people who argued that the kicks shouldn't be the reason Keith won the fight. This is my evidence, that Keith did indeed control the entire fight with kicks.

We don't hold our hands out like MT, we go for the more western 'cover your head' approach, but we use MT kicks and clinch techniques. MT is probably the best stand up art there is, imo. Nothing else is really close.

[/ QUOTE ] The rumor mill has it that Kongo and Nog are going to fight. Winner get's Randy or Fedor (tentatively) after the Superbowl. You forgot to add Serra Vs. Hughes. Roger Huerta, Doug Evans, and Koscheck are slated to fight as well. Should be a good night. Edit: I've heard nothing about Okami vs. Henderson, nor have I heard anything about Henderson moving to 185. Though he should, that division is weak.

Got something awesome for you guys. This made me lol so hard, i [censored] love forrest griffin.
There's a point in the third round where shogun is sitting in forrests guard and swishes a big elbow over him. Doesn't even come close to landing, but the chute boxe camp does the little 'AYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY' thing they always do.
