Default WinTheMin

Why do they do this?

I open 44 on the button, BB calls.

Flop is JT4. He bet/3bets and gets himself capped.

Turn is a 7 putting two clubs out there. He bet/3bets again. No cap this time as I fear 98.

River is a two of clubs, he bets, I call, ace six of clubs is good.

WTF?

Next hand, I open AK and the BB calls. BB is someone whom people thought was good in the Stars regulars thread.

Flop is 962 rainbow and he check-calls.
Turn is As putting two spades out and he check-raises. I call.
River is Qs. He bets, I call, K5 of spades is good.

WTFWTFWTFWTF?

nina, biggie is awesome

guy, hand 1 is lol of course but hand 2 doesn't seem so bad. the flop peel is questionable but I would peel in that spot if I was going to see a lot of free rivers. you're probably betting your whole range again on that turn so it seems like a decent spot for a semibluff. would you fold any pairs < A in that spot? maybe dude read the thread from last week where that exact play was discussed.

danza, lol

it's laughable how much action you got in this hand. classic tard thinking.

[/ QUOTE ]

Well, when I posted a hand in which I flopped a house and it got capped on all streets, and I was asking whether I should cap the river, everyone said I should. How is that different?

[/ QUOTE ]
when you hold the Ac on a 2c3c4c5c board and someone is going nuts, they don't have just the Kc. when you hold T3 on JTT3 and someone is going nuts, AT, KT, QT, and 33 all go nuts. and i went back and looked at that thread and i said "ck > bet" river, which means i was unsure to tell you to c/r or c/c.

i played a hand where i didnt get the river capped w/ top boat. action went as follows:

tag raises CO, i 3-bet KK in sb, he calls (hu)
flop Kh 8s 3s - i bet/3-bet, he calls.
turn 8d - i bet/3-bet, he caps.
river Qc - i c/r, he 3-bets, i call.
