WHAT THE.....

Twins have picked up 5 games on first place in the last 10 days.

Baker pitches a gem today.

DET and CLE sucking. I guess if they are gonna hand it to us, we'll take it.

bump

i am extremely surprised that the white sox are 59-79. i say this as a smug jerk who bet a lot of money on them finishing u88.5 (do i have any outstanding bets with you guys? you can ship now pls tks on stars), so i'm happy, but legitimately stunned that they are this bad. i am pretty sure there is some undue regression to the mean here.

anyway indians smash the twins again as neshek is left in to face non-righties, which is always good for a laugh.

Neshek is probably the team's best option out of the bullpen (after Nathan) vs. lefties or righties. They are both batting under 200 vs. him this year.

Currently the tightest race in baseball, and likely to stay that way for the entire season. Discuss.

My season-end prediction:

1. CHW (blatant homerism)
2. DET
3. MIN
4. CLE
5. KC

[/ QUOTE ]

Did last night clinch it for the Tribe? Not mathematically I know but seems pretty damn likely now.

Kyleb, I'll take $50 at even odds that the White Sox are above 4th in the ALC at the All-Star break if you can do transfers on Stars or Epassporte. I'm also curious about your 2+2 White Sox fan betting history.

lost out on some easy money here apparently

Well, that's the thing. If it actually was easy money, someone would've taken it. The gloating rights are probably worth more to you than the $50 anyway. The Sox played below expectation this year regardless of what PETCOA said.

Anyway, my prediction was:

1. DET
2. CLE
3. CWS
4. MIN
5. KC

Not very good. Oh well.
