well we just got done our dinner at nobu. tbh, i was pretty disappointed. we got the $150 7-course meal, a couple bottles of wine and some sake.

all in all, and perhaps my palate is too unrefined to appreciate it, but i was sort of underwhelmed. it was definitely good food, but only two dishes were what i'd call "extraordinary," and only one of them ranked up with one of the best dishes i've ever had (the blackened cod omgggggg). also, the service was shockingly bad (bringing us courses while we were still working on our last course, forgetting to open our bottles of wine (WTF?), not explaining what each course was, etc). but the company was good. it was really great to meet all you guys, i was pleasantly surprised by how many of the higher stakes players were still just regular good guys who were up for a good time. ill be back next year!

i went to the bahamian club with a bunch of dudes and i thought the food/service was [censored] also. but maybe i just don't like lamb.
