Re: Well-known movies that famous people were in when they weren\'t fam
Matthew Perry was in a few episodes of Growing Pains. I seem to recall that he died in a car accident while drunk driving in a "very special episode".

[ QUOTE ]
This doesn't technically count, but my personal favorite, and one you wouldn't expect, especially from the younger lurkers on the forum is Jerry Orbach aka Lenny Briscoe of Law and Order was the voice of Lumiere the candlesticks in Beauty and the Beast. He sang the catchy "Be our Guest." [/ QUOTE ] Yeah, I had no idea that was him before seeing the credits. More L&O trivia, Orbach played a lawyer in season 1 (he joined the cast as a cop in season 3). The actress who played Lt. Van Buren was a victim (or a relative of a victim, I forget) in an early episode. The Executive DA in L&O: Criminal Intent was a criminal in an episode of L&O (he actually had a really prominent role in that episode). |

In Jarhead, the Marine who sells Jake Gyllenhaal booze and writes the major's love letters ("I studied Classics at Dartmouth.") is Jim from The Office. |
