Re: *** Official Fantasy Football Start\'em/Sit\'em Thread: SEPT ***
OK I just voted on the last 10 polls. Now do mine pls k thx.
RB scoring is standardish. DEF scoring is normal for INT/FR/Sack/TD/etc, but also it's minus one FP per point allowed. |

Do I start Brady or Romo at QB. ESPN league scoring, also, Packers D or Chargers D.

I think it's a valid question, though a better question would be "why haven't you traded Romo/Brady for a stud RB/WR yet?" Romo has bye first Week 8, but I think you're losing some value waiting that long with someone that good on your bench. Yes, I have a mancrush on Romo. |

perplexity. -1FP per point allowed? Seriously? Do you even need to start a Defense? If not, I would never start a D, and if I did, I'd probably draft the Bears, Ravens and Pats with my first 3 picks. NOt really, but that's insane.

I didn't mention that it's actually -1FP per point allowed, but the defense also gets 20 points just for taking the field. That is, FP = (20 - PA). It can indeed go negative. It is kinda weird, yes. So far this year, best DST has been Vikings, scoring 45/23/10. Worst has been Giants, scoring -20/-12/7. |

Ah ok, that makes a ton more sense. Still pretty high variance.

Re: *** Official Fantasy Football Start\'em/Sit\'em Thread: SEPT ***
No PPR.
Four slots in question: WR, WR, WR/RB, QB. I was going to go with Torry Holt, Wes Welker, and Larry Fitzgerald for consistency but I'm tempted to throw Kevin Jones in at the WR/RB spot. I'm not sold on Bowe or Jennings yet. I'm leaning towards Rivers because of Cutler's ankle and Indy being solid but if Denver falls behind in that game I can see Cutler airing it out quite a bit. Who would you start in these slots? |
