Hi RVG72. Looks like you have great program in the works there. When looking at iPoker compatibility would you check if these hands work. They're mined using Gold Mine (iPoker datamining app). They are XMLly equivalent to the hands produced by iPoker but some existing programs (PO) still can't deal with them.

Anyone who has the 0 hands imported problem please do this:

Edit: Never mind - I've duplicated the problem (or at least one of the problems) by changing regional settings. Now I can work on the fix.

Anyone who has the 0 hands imported problem please do this:

Go into Control Panel - Regional and language settings and tell me what you have for Currency and Short Date? I have $123,456,789.00 for currency and 7/16/2007 for short date.

Pretty sure it is one or both of those values that is causing the problem since the hand histories I've been getting look fine and another poster said that after switching regional settings everything worked much better.

Hopefully I'll have this fix, and the ability to drop your database and start over, ready for tonight.

Thanks,

Roy

I have the exact same settings as you and get the 0 hands imported problem.

oh ok - thanks for letting me know. I'll still fix the problem I found because it affects anyone with different regional settings but I'll keep on looking for the 0 hands imported problem.

Hey rvg,

How long is it supposed to take to run an overall report(Report-Report Name: Overall results) on, say, a 230k hand database?

It takes me about 6 minutes to run this report with nothing else running on a v new machine..is this expected?

this will speed it up for you:

VACUUM ANALYZE

1) Start Menu - Programs - Postgre SQL 8.x - pgadmin III
2) Double click on the database server on the left and enter your password
3) In the Database list under that server make sure you select Holdem Manager
4) Select Tools -Query Tool in the menu
5) Type the following and then press F5: Vacuum Analyze PokerHands

(depending on size of DB this could take a few minutes)

And do:

Vacuum Analyze CompiledResults
Vacuum Analyze CompiledPlayerResults

to speed up the Players tab in a huge way

rvg,

instead of having "turn cbet%" i'd rather multiply "flop cbet%" and "turn cbet%" to get "%time player fires two streets (period)". same goes for "river cbet%" (flopcbet% * turncbet% * rivercbet%). since it'll eventually be in a hud i'd rather the # be something i can quickly glance at and use when multitabling.
