your an idiot.

If you were more intelligent, you might recognize the irony in this statement.

The funniest part: "Location: Purdue University"... heh. 500 Verbal on the SAT is all it takes now, huh?

I think the OP is an angle, I wouldn't go so far as to call it cheating. I might contact support about it. I would not bother to post on 2+2 about it.

Friendly banter between hands is fine, but commenting on a player's hand during play would not be tolerated at a B&M and I'm glad to see that it is not tolerated at Party, either.

You've never played live, have you?

Either you aren't a hit and run specialist, and the guy gave the table false information, resulting in your favor due to people listening to him; or you are a hit and run specialist, in which case you are the one with poor ettiquette and deserving of the announcement.

Either way, the outcome favors the deserving person imo.

[/ QUOTE ]

Truth.

Furthermore, this sounds like someone calling out an alcoholic on his/her addiction and the alcoholic responding with a baseless defense in order to try to convince everyone that he doesn't have a problem.

Maybe some of you guys should try to pull these antics you so openly condone in casinos/poker rooms and need the SH!T kicked out of you from time to time.

[/ QUOTE ]

Cheating, no. But certainly something that would warrant a live "SH!T" kicking.

Also one of the biggest problems in today's world, not enough "SH!T" kicking to keep people in line where laws, morals, upbringing and common decency fail.

Some have called OP a nit in this thread, but I would rather a nit than the douchebags that think they can say/do whatever they like with impunity on the internet.

this school is full of downies that is true. I take very little time in checking the grammer i post in this forum, especially when an idiot claims that someone stating he is a hit and run specialist is a cheater.

[ QUOTE ]
Ive had several people say "call, call him!" when i put in a nice bet on the river and waiting for a call/fold ... [censored] like that is just wrong.

[/ QUOTE ]

If someone is telling someone to call or fold to your bet, and they are right, i think your bigger concern should be the style of your play. If people are getting a read on you, an occasional chat comment is the least of your concerns.

I took an awful bad beat a while back and on the very next hand, i get AA. I make a redonkuless raise preflop and manage to get a caller. The flop is harmless and i make an obscene all-in move. I had about 3 players at the table telling this donkey to call. I was loving it. finally the guy called me with a marginal hand and i took down the pot. i was LOLOLOLOLOLing all over them for like 10 minutes.

I doubt you would make a fuss if you had any other non-premium hand.

FWIW, you -are- a hit and run specialist

Eliot,

I suggest you quit being a hit and run specialist.

thedustbustr,

[ QUOTE ]
Hitting and running is a far worse breach in ettiquette than accusing someone of hitting and running.

[/ QUOTE ]

hitting and running is rude. Giving advice to another player in the hand is against the rules. Surely you can see the difference?

OP - you're technically right, but making too big a deal about it
