6 max LHE

I don't play 6 max LHE, so I'm curious about this. Wouldn't the suggestions be very similar to the various recommendations on playing from middle position or later in a full ring game?

And isn't one of the main reasons for the popularity of 6 max based in the fact that there are no 'instruction manuals' for it, so presumably winning play would have to be looser and more aggressive, but there's a larger number of people who aren't playing that well due to the lack of good information on playing these games?

If so, then surely a good book on 6 max would hurt rather than help?
