I work in a room with a magical muck,

What's a magical muck?

[/ QUOTE ]

pfap talked about it in another post, about dead cards. Basically, the "magical muck" means that if the player's cards in any way, shape or form touch the muck (or, sometimes even come near the muck), the hand is dead.... regardless of the situation or the ability to identify the two cards.

We consider angling discussion of the hand in progress in an attempt to gain an advantage.
For example:
"I have the flush, you better just fold" is angeling
or
"My hand is huge, I would check if I was you" also angeling
however:
guy not involved in hand "buddy, you should fold, he has a monster" - not permitted

[/ QUOTE ]

Thats not angling. Thats just table talk sort of. In a heads up poit in a cash game theree is no problem with that.

Allowing it to go on ion a multi-way hand is bad.

Allowing it in a tournament you may as well well just invite players to hand each other chips to help out there teammates.

This is not a question of different rules in different jurisdictions, these are fundamental issues that suggest to me that your games are being run by people with no knowledge or experience in poker.

I would love to see the local commission's rules, because I bet they don't say what you suggests they say.
