about a year and a half ago she got angry at my mom (i was at school at the time), came by the house screaming and demanded to be let in (my siblings refused to let her in), she grabbed a big rock and started slamming it on the door putting a giant number of dents in the door (new house, doors cost 10k). she also screamed that she would cut my brother's dick off repeatedly. then finally drove away. then left a couple of threatning phone messages.

imo, there isn't a sinlge thing selfish or childish about taking that route and it's borderline offensive for you to say otherwise.
