The member number bit seems to be pretty skewed. There's a minimum at 87500, and then everybody regged after that is actually getting better. At 2*87500, when that day comes, that member will have as much status as the Sklansky's of the world, and it only gets worse. Thus, this formula is poorly designed IMO, unless there's a good reason it should be this way. My reg. number is 27711, 7474 posts. I get about 8.07 million, if I didn't mess up. |

From running the numbers on some posters I like, I concluded that the sweet spot for awesome-ness is ~8.5M or so. Any less might be too noob-ish, significantly more and you're just a volume poster. [/ QUOTE ] Yay, 8.53M! |

after discussing this with gump, Im going to post the linear model (which fit worse): 134*Post Count - Member Number either way, it appears (per the methods used which Ill go into a bit later) that quality of OOT posts tends to correlate far better with post count than member number... which (again) Im surprised by |
