Like Durron said, its seriously nothing to worry about. It seemed like they were looking more at personality and connection with the audience than at the actual topic. The ones I saw at my audition were 'how to choose the right brred of dog for your lifestyle', 'how to save money on gas', 'how to do a sudoku', and 'how to be a rockstar in 5 minutes (me obv)'. The only guy who didn't make it into the training program was the sudoku guy, and I think it may have had something to do with the fact that he wore black track pants with flames on them and a ratty t-shirt.
Don't wear black track pants with flames on them and a ratty t-shirt.

My "how to be a rockstar in 5 minutes" speech wasn't really a comprehensive speech about rockstar lifestyle, I just basically taught about the parts of a guitar and how to play a power chord. The thing about power chords is that if you can play one, you can play them all, and thusly can play about half the songs on pop radio. Green Day, Nirvana, Staind, Bush, whoever. I thought it went pretty well, but I was mainly relying on my natural charisma and twinkling smile rather than my knowledge of music.
Nich, just be awesome and you've got it locked up. The training is harder than the audition, but even the training wasn't that tough imo.

If I remember correctly the one I did for princeton review was how to score a game of bowling - I got the job. Durron and Elroy have it nailed - just be comfortable, natural, and choose something you know well.

6.5 hours to go; great advice from all, and i'm not nervous about my actual presentation skills or passing it...i'm nervous about finalizing a topic and going with it...worried it'll be 5:30 and i still haven't decided
i need to just pick something and set it in stone
