id fold preflop since that's the only way to disquise the strength of your hand. [/ QUOTE ] lol so true.. This is an easy 4bet pf for me. I 4bet bluff here enough that my value 4betting range definitely includes KK as my opponents will likely stack off with QQ/JJ/AK against me. |

Re: step by step KK
if you're on the button here, i can see the merit in a cc.
however, being OOP just makes this hand to difficult too play post-flop, and i rr pre. if i do take your line pre, i cr the flop and get it in. all playing this hand in a "tricky" manner did was make you lose $260. |

Re: step by step KK
at first i thought CC was the way to go but i think making a 4bet is better in this situation since we can make it look like some AKo iso play vs the shorty. if we cc we probably only get one street of value, two streets if he flops some opened ended or overpair+flushdraw , 0 if the ace comes (in which case we might actually fold if he stabs) and we may still lose a big pot when he hits some hand we didnt expect like 54s or whatever.

Re: step by step KK
CCing is pretty nice if the shorty gets out of line/overplays hands much. You have nice relative position on him, and will put the BTN in some sick guessing games.
The pot is protected, though, so I wouldn't really expect much implied odds from bluffing here. Irregardless of that, there should still be a ton of hands here that you can 4bet for value vs the shorty, but can fold to a shove if the CO wakes up. Even though your move looks strong, he's still your main target. And of course, there is some value in not seeing a flop, (although obviously you'd prefer they get in there). If CO does go for the shove.. I sigh and instacall. |

Re: step by step KK
Will people think I'm a fish if I suggest min-raising the flop?
