Re: What are some good acoustic covers to learn?
This post for some reason reminded me of Jose Gonzalez's wonderful acoustic cover of The Knife's "Heartbeats". (The original)

Re: What are some good acoustic covers to learn?
There are a bunch of older Radiohead songs that work well acoustic. For example: - Fake Plastic Trees - High and Dry - Black Star - Bulletproof - Street Spirit - No Surprises - Karma Police Also, I highly recommend the Travis cover of Hit Me Baby One More Time. This gets a better audience reaction than any other song I play by far. |

Neutral Milk Hotel - "In the Aeroplane Over the Sea" [/ QUOTE ] Great song and super easy to play. Just four chords - most of the song is G, E, C, D and the other part is E, C, G, D. |

Also Sea Anemone and Sweet Avenue by Jets to Brazil make good acoustic covers. [/ QUOTE ] dude, OP mentions Hard Rock/bad new metal songs... why in the hell are you mentioning indie rock to him? Another example of a thoughtless response. Save your answers for the "what indie rock covers to learn" thread. I actually do listen to indie rock, but assuming that other people do is asinine. |
