If I bet the turn and he calls, what is my plan for the river? I've mentioned in previous threads that when I make a mistake in a hand it tends to be on the turn. Anyway, I did push the river figuring I'd get action from any fh higher than the board. I thought the push would look dumb enough to suggest I was making an obvious steal when playing the board. I was expecting a call from TT-QQ. Anyone like? Will post results later.

yeah, pretty sure you played the flop/turn pretty bad. Maybe check behind on the flop every once in awhile but you have to bet the turn when he checks AGAIN. And boy, push that river with everything you've got.

Either blocking bet or check/call to induce a bluff, depending on reads.

Not really, without a specific read and some history with Villain. I think it gives up value. But if it worked, then nice play.

Thats a terrible push, a masive overbet means he should only call with an A or 88. You get so much more value by raising to 50 and being called by QQ-TT, this range should fold to a push.

Also you need to bet the turn. If he calls and the river blanks then I would fold to a resonable sized bet. Given what the river was you would have to call a river bet given he may have had an 8.
