The more i think about this hand the more i feel its better to just call the flop and fold the turn if unimproved and bet into. JJ will more than likely only win if we catch. Unless were up against AK, but then that give him a straight if any Jack comes and the board will have to pair to make us the winner.

vs loosbastard i would just fold this flop. ime he doesnt seem to like to bet/fold, and especially not in a rerasied pot once hes bet this particular board. hero has 8 outs at best, often only 6

[/ QUOTE ]

Is this because he sometimes holds AJ?

...flop shove looks good. He folds a good % of his range ...

[/ QUOTE ]
i very strongly disagree with this

[/ QUOTE ]

OK, this may be true, but if we assume %40 equity vs his c-bet range, he only needs to fold 6% of the time for a push to be 0EV:

p is the probability he folds to a shove

EV(push) = p(53) + (1-p)(.40)116.4 - (1-p)(.60)83.4 = 0

=> p = .06

[/ QUOTE ]
where are you getting 40% equity from? i think thats being really optimistic and you're probably forgetting about his likely redraws even when we hit our straight outs
