Damn, I miss the hangar. The boneless honey barbeque and honey mustard was just pure pornography.

My Dad was the first restaurant in Niagara Falls to sell wings, he got the idea from some places in Buffalo in the early 70s.

[/ QUOTE ]

whats the name of his place? I wonder If I have had them , also that place is called the Anchor Bar in Buffalo, unless you wish to dispute the home of the Wing

Big fan of the wings from bdubs. Spicy garlic and tons of bleu cheese

[/ QUOTE ]

I usually get the boneless with spicy garlic just because when I eat BWW I'm usually at work and it's easier to eat and work when using a fork.

But when I get wings it's definetly bone in and medium. I guess I'm a lil girl when it comes to wings. If I go to Hooters I get hot cause their hot is everyone elses medium.

Yeah, definitely. I've only had the buffalo wings, are any of the other flavors particularly good?

haha yeah, i actually never get the buffalo there, simply because the flavors are way better. honey mustard, honey bbq, teriyaki, spicy teriyaki, golden bbq.. all excellent.

Brag: I had boneless wings from the Hangar in Amherst last night, Golden BBQ and West Texas mesquite. The combination of quality chicken and the deliciousness and variety of flavors puts it over the top.

ps. their boned wings are pretty good too.

[/ QUOTE ]

i think me and jc are gonna go to the one in brookline for lunch today. back when i was at umass the boneless were incredible, but for a while a few years back they changed the chicken, and boneless were horrible. during that period i got nothing but boned wings and they were incredible in their own right. then they changed the chicken back and boneless went back to being UNREAL GOOD. still, this thread makes me want to get boned today. (haha)

Daryn, Buffs Pub in Newton is easily the best wings in the Boston area.

To speak on behalf of the other non-chicken wing lovers, I've always felt that it was too much work for not enough meat. Also it's very messy. Is a Beast Light can about to land on me?

It took me like 28 years to realize this, but meat on the bone >>>>>>>>>>>>&g t;>> boneless anditisn'tevenclsoedoyouseewhy.

Hot wings, blue cheese, flats > drumettes.

WTF? It's not like cracking open crabs with a wooden mallet.

It's just a little sauce. Napkins, wet wipes, good to go.
