Ok, you can call it A-, but you cannot call the field A when it is missing a player who wins 1/3 of the time he plays, whether that is Tiger or someone else.

I'll stick with A, but to make you happy I'll admit it's closer to A- than A+. and Tiger in PGA Tour events wins slightly better than 1/4 of the time.

Maybe if you guys graded it on a 1-10 scale, with 10 being best, that would clear things up?

(I think I only brought my C game to this post.)

Tiger in PGA tour events has won 50% of the time over the last two years. Which would you take Tiger's odds at, 1/3 or 1/4?

Clark,

I'm not a big fan of changing something which is typically a year long competition (like POY or money leader) into a higher variance, shorter time frame competition.

It seems mostly driven to extend the year / interest in year end events. It's a meh to me. I don't like the idea of introducing more luckbox into supposed year-end competitions.
