Re: Does Posada end up in the Hall?
[ QUOTE ]
I am gonna go with David Eckstein being the most overrated player ever. Pudge is still worth a lot of runs defensively. I don't know that many people who slob his knob, actually. [/ QUOTE ] How so? Does anyone think he's good? He's a decent leadoff guy, but his range is awful and it was doubtful that any team would give anything for him at the trade deadline. His current contract was a mere 3/$15m and his next one will likely be similar. I'm not seeing overrated anywhere. |

Re: Does Posada end up in the Hall?
posada doesnt block the plate, cant catch the [censored] ball, calls a terrible game and pudge has been the best defensive catcher in baseball for most of his career

Re: Does Posada end up in the Hall?
Guys, Posada was so horrendous defensively to be in the Hall this guy would have to be like one of the greatest all time hitting (like Piazza) at his position. If he played 1st base would he be a Hall candidate? Of coruse not, you;re considering him because he's a catcher OK fine but he was a terrible one.

Re: Does Posada end up in the Hall?
I mean the only worse defensive catcher than Posada in his generation might be Piazza. It's close. Piazza threw to 2nd worse than my grandmother, Posada throws maybe at my grandfather's level and caught the ball at Stevie Wonder's level.
