Not sure what you're saying about those hands; I think they're well-played, particularly the first one.

In the 88 hand, his opponent is most likely to have a draw, 2nd most likely to have a T, and highly unlikely to have a 9, so CRAI seems very nice.

In the 2nd hand, he repped a big hand and his opponent had a sneaky, big hand himself, or it would've probably worked.
